We are a group of dedicated educators, moms, grandmothers, and retirees who just aren’t quite ready to leave the workforce. Current Openings

Trinity Episcopal Day School follows the Conroe ISD calendar for most holidays and closures. Our normal work days are Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 12:00 with extended days from 12:00 – 2:00, and Fridays from 8:30 – 12:00. All salaries are based on experience and negotiated with the Head of School. Please reach out for further information.

Lead Science Teacher

As the Lead Preschool Science Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our 4-5 year old preschool students. We provide you with an established curriculum, offering a solid foundation for science education. However, we also encourage your creative input, allowing you the freedom to expand and adapt the curriculum to inspire wonder and exploration.

Lead Junior Kindergarten Teacher

Beginning August 2024, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 2:15 

Overview:

Trinity Episcopal Day School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Kindergarten Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team. The Junior Kindergarten program at Trinity is designed to foster a love for learning while providing students with a solid foundation for academic success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Our Junior Kindergarten Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the developmental needs of Junior Kindergarten students, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and early science and social studies concepts.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and respected.
  • Collaborate with other members of the TEDS team to ensure continuity and alignment across age levels.
  • Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor for Junior Kindergarten students, encouraging leadership skills and responsible behavior.
  • Actively participate in school-wide events and activities, including chapel services and community service projects.
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Prior teaching experience in a preschool or early elementary setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to creating a joyful and engaging learning environment.

Assistant Junior Kindergarten Teacher

Work Days: 

Beginning August 2024, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 2:15 and Friday 8:30 – 12:15

As our assistant teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our lead teacher to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment. From circle time to art projects to outdoor play, you’ll help administer daily activities that foster learning and development in our little ones.

But that’s not all – you’ll also have the chance to take on additional responsibilities, like ensuring that our safety standards are upheld at all times. And with your help, we’ll maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space where children can thrive.

Lead Infant Teacher

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Prior experience as a lead teacher is preferred.

Are you passionate about nurturing the youngest minds and providing a supportive learning environment? Trinity Episcopal Day School is seeking a dedicated Lead Infant Room Teacher to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Infant Room Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the growth and development of infants in our care, ensuring they receive the best start to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  2. Individualized Care: Provide individualized attention and care to each infant, understanding their unique needs and interests.
  3. Safety and Well-being: Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that complies with state regulations and follows best practices in early childhood education.
  4. Parent Communication: Establish and maintain positive communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress, milestones, and daily activities.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff members to ensure continuity of care and a supportive learning environment for all children.
  6. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and trends in early childhood education.

 

Additional requirements for applicants: Participate in school-wide functions outside of normal school hours up to four times per year. These include open houses and student performances. Be able to accurately observe and assess children and share this information via parent conferences twice yearly. Be able to effectively communicate with families on a day to day basis through our parent communication app. Be able to easily sit on the floor and engage with students at a lower level. Be willing to change diapers. Attend monthly all-staff meetings. 

Assistant Infant Teacher

Prior experience in a classroom setting is preferred, but not required.

Work Days: Beginning August 2024, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 2:15 (Additional hours available – please inquire.)

As our assistant teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our lead teacher to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment. From circle time to art projects to outdoor play, you’ll help administer daily activities that foster learning and development in our littlest ones.

Having a patient, nurturing character will be a desired quality in a successful candidate as many of these students will be transitioning to a learning environment for the first time.

You’ll also have the chance to take on additional responsibilities, like ensuring that our safety standards are upheld at all times. And with your help, we’ll maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space where children can thrive.

If you are passionate about guiding young children on their educational journey and helping them achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you. As the Lead Teacher for our 3s program, you will have the opportunity to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of 3-year-old students, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging learning activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
  • Individualize instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, providing both challenge and support as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open and effective communication.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress and development, using this information to inform instructional planning and differentiate instruction.
  • Collaborate with other members of the TEDS team to ensure continuity and alignment across age levels.
  • Participate in school-wide functions outside of normal school hours, including open houses and student performances.
  • Conduct parent conferences twice yearly to share observations and assessment results.
  • Utilize our parent communication app to effectively communicate with families on a day-to-day basis.
