Current Openings

Trinity Episcopal Day School follows the Conroe ISD calendar for most holidays and closures. Our normal work days are Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 12:00 with extended days from 12:00 – 2:00, and Fridays from 8:30 – 12:00. All salaries are based on experience and negotiated with the Head of School. Please reach out for further information.

Assistant  Teacher

Prior experience in a classroom setting is preferred.

Work Days: Beginning August 2024, Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 – 2:15, and Friday, 8:30 – 12:15. Hours may vary – please inquire.

As an assistant teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our lead teacher to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment. From circle time to art projects to outdoor play, you’ll help administer daily activities that foster learning and development in our little ones.

You’ll also have the chance to take on additional responsibilities, like ensuring that our safety standards are upheld at all times. And with your help, we’ll maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space where children can thrive.

Applicants should be outgoing, energetic, and motivated to assist the Lead Teacher as well as open to taking direction and assisting with classroom management and other tasks.

Additional Requirements for applicants: Participate in school-wide functions outside of normal school hours up to four times per year. These include open houses and student performances. Be able to effectively communicate with families on a day to day basis through our parent communication app. Be a team player willing to work alongside the lead teacher in a cooperative environment. Attend monthly all-staff meetings. 

Financial Assistant

Job Overview:

Trinity Episcopal Day School is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Assistant to support the financial operations of the school. This part-time role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting in budgeting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks Desktop knowledge, strong communication skills, a background in accounting or bookkeeping, and a passion for supporting a thriving educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions including payments, donations, and invoices.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and deposits.
  • Assist with budget tracking and monthly financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using financial management software.
  • Coordinate payroll processes in collaboration with the school’s administration.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents for audits, board meetings, and annual reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash for school activities and supplies.
  • Support the Head of School with special financial projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in  finance, accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Two days per week, Monday/Thursday 8:30 – 2:00
